At Monday Salon, Kat will discuss her works in the THIRST series, Empty Fields and forthcoming works Porous Grounds, created through her residency at ARKO (Arts Council Korea).
Theme:
Landscapes in transformation, sealed skin of the planet. Does the Earth need to sweat? To breathe? Who can access, which can access, what can access, what can escape? Borders offer protection but they limit, too. How porous is the ground?
변화하는 풍경, 그리고 봉인된 지구의 피부. 지구도 땀을 흘려야 할까? 숨을 쉬어야 할까? 누가 접근할 수 있으며, 무엇이 접근할 수 있고, 무엇이 빠져나갈 수 있을까? 경계는 보호를 제공하지만 동시에 제한을 만들기도 한다. 과연 땅은 얼마나 많은 것을 통과시킬 수 있을까?
