Kat has been selected as artist in residence for Arts Council Korea’s studio residency. Taking part in the ARKO Art Studio Residency’s 3rd cycle, Kat will develop an artwork using Korean traditional paper Hanji, sound and light that explores the porosity and perturbations of material juxtaposed with the sealed surfaces of urban redevelopment, explored in the context of the Bogwang-dong / Hannam 3 development in Seoul, Republic of Korea.
There will be an open studio at the end of the residency in July 2026.
